In the South of France, this charming one-bedroom house is perched in the beautiful and historic, medieval hill village of Grimaud. This light and airy modern Provencal-style house is ideal for a couple!

The house is on three floors. The ground floor houses an integral garage, a small sitting area with a day-bed, a bathroom with a shower, and a closet / storage area with a washer and dryer. On the first floor (French) is a spacious open-floor-plan living area consisting of a lovely sitting room with a fireplace and CD player, a pleasant dining area and a fully-equipped kitchen. Flowing from the dining area is a delightful outdoor terrace with traditional plantings such as an olive tree and climbing bougainvillea plus other Provencal plants and herbs. The terrace is furnished with a dining table and chairs, chaise longue, an awning and parasols and offers lovely views of the countryside and distant villages. The open-air terrace is a pleasant way to enjoy the air, sun and views offered from this village perch. On the top floor is a spacious Master bedroom and ensuite full bathroom with a bathtub, shower stall and a separate WC (toilet). There are many windows in the house, so it is bright and sunny with expansive views of the Provencal countryside and vineyards all the way to the coast.

The house is fully equipped. There is a TV, High-Speed Internet via broadband, a telephone on the main floor and an extension phone on the desk in the bedroom. All linens, including beach towels, are provided, as are kitchen staples. Start days for rentals can be flexible and are not confined to Saturdays. Weekly Rent is inclusive of utilities and complimentary weekly maid service. The house comes with a designated parking space.

This charming house is located in the South of France’s “Var” region of Provence. The medieval hill village of Grimaud is one of the oldest villages in the Maures, and belonged to Gibelin de Garibaldi in the Middle Ages. All that remains intact of the old three-towered castle is one vaulted hall. Enjoy a hike around the castle or a walk through the lively village brimming with restaurants and art galleries. Grimaud is only 12 km from Saint Tropez and its infamous beaches. Other beautiful Cote d’Azure attractions such as Cannes, Antibes, Monte Carlo and the Italian border are equally accessible. On your immediate coast, discover the waterside town of Port Grimaud, with its house-lined canals leading to the sea. A taste of Venice in the midst of Provence! The nearest airports are Nice and Toulon and the nearest large town is Cogolin.
