This is a Non-Smoking Apartment
This beautiful apartment’s location is absolutely perfect! Situated in the ‘Costello District’ overlooking the wonderful pedestrian street, Via Giuseppe Garibaldi, the apartment sits amidst a charming authentic Venetian neighborhood, next door to the famous Giardini park – yet only a 10 minute walk to the Piazza San Marco.
The apartment is simply heaven on earth! From the moment you enter the front door, with its gothic portal, your senses will be seduced. The owners have paid extraordinary attention to every detail and designed the entire apartment with luxury and exclusivity foremost in mind. The apartment’s interior is luxurious while at the same time serious thanks to the combination of antique and contemporary design with precious materials, superior quality finishings, designer furniture and impressive lights. All contained within a 14th century frame that was left intact, preserved, during the recent restoration.
This gorgeous and uniquely designed apartment features a highly refined eclectic mix of modern and classic design. Its highlights include Venetian mosaics, superb unique marble slabs, superior quality finishings and last, but not least, rare pieces of furniture and exquisite lighting fixtures from famous Italian designers.
One enters the apartment thru a hallway leading to a spacious living area that includes a sitting area, a state of the art kitchen and a dining table and chairs. This first room leads to a blue mosaic bathroom then to the exquisite living room. The daybed sofa in the living room converts into one large bed or two twin beds. Doors on both sides of the living room close to ensure privacy. Beyond the living room is the Primary bedroom.
The beautiful bedroom is unique with its round bed, lovely wall fresco and overhead planetarium. This bedroom has a gorgeous ensuite full bathroom featuring a Hamman steam shower and a large closet. Stairs lead from this bedroom up to the spacious mezzanine.
The large mezzanine area is the perfect space for children. The ceiling is low but children can stand upright. The apartment is ideal for 4 adults (downstairs) and 2 children (in the mezzanine)
This apartment is perfect for both tourism and business trips. It features fast WiFi and a large screen cable TV.
Location:
The apartment’s location in the ‘Castello District’ is perfect. It’s an authentic Venetian neighborhood; very central and lively during the day but very quiet at night. The apartment overlooks the Via Giuseppe Garibaldi pedestrian street which offers groceries, specialty food shops, a pharmacy, a hardware store, restaurants and a church (with a big clock) just opposite the apartment! The Piazza San Marco is only 10 minutes’ walk along the most beautiful promenade in the world’s "Riva degli Schiavoni". The Giardini Vaporetto boat stop is just a two minute walk away. It is the ideal location for visitors to the Boat Show and the 2024 Venice Art Biennale which is held in the Giardini gardens next to the apartment.

History:
The palazzetto “Ospizio delle donzelle” sits on the western side of the Biennale Gardens. It is the last building opening to the magnificent entrance to the city gardens designed by Selva architect upon Napoleon’s request. The palazzetto Ospizio delle donzelle is the place where young poor girls were hosted and educated to become ladies before marrying a Venetian gentlemen.
