The apartment is set just a 10-minute stroll from the Colosseum, it’s close to major sites while still serving as a relaxing home where you can unwind after a busy day of sightseeing.
Pope VI spent time on the property and the outdoor courtyard served as a workshop for the Vatican Museum to restore its priceless marble statues in the 1800s.
Now owned by an esteemed scientist with a passion for the arts, the Colosseum Terrace is full of fascinating objects including ancient maps, rare prints, astronomical equipment and shelves upon shelves of books.
The wooden beams ceilings are painted by hand featuring ornamental vegetal motifs and were recently restored to help maintain the historic details of the home.
