Description:
This is a Non-Smoking Apartment

The bright and spacious ground-level flat is set at the back of a private garden off stately Avenue Kléber near Trocadéro. You couldn't dream of a more prestigious vacation address! The freshly renovated apartment (80 m2 or 860 sq/ft) offers two bedrooms as well as an office/study that can be set up as an additional private bedroom for an extra guest if necessary.

The cozy and modern home is a duplex with a living room, dining room, and kitchen on the ground floor and bedrooms on the upper level.

The ground floor open space offers a generous living area with a couch and chairs for 6 guests facing a flat-screen TV. The round dining table can also accommodate 5 to 6 guests with natural light and views of the leafy garden. The patio is well-enclosed to offer privacy for outdoor dining with a table spacious enough for 6 or simply relaxing in the shade of the trees in one of the lounge chairs. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped with high-end appliances.

Upstairs, the master bedroom offers a king-size bed with a quality mattress and windows opening on the green courtyard. The second bedroom has a comfortable double bed for one guest. The office/study space has a desk and a sofa that can be turned into single beds for two additional guests. The bathroom offers a sink, shower stall, towel warmer, and toilet. Another WC on the main floor offers a toilet and sink.

Fantastic Neighborhood Outdoor Market: Marché Président Wilson
Location: Place d’léna on Wednesday and Saturday mornings 7 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Bursting with high-quality epicurean delights, this twice-weekly market attracts the city's top chefs and discerning foodies!

In front of Palais de Tokyo and running almost the length of Avenue Président-Wilson, this open air food market claims to be the largest of its kind in Paris. It may also be the most gourmet – go early in the morning to spot chefs and restaurateurs stocking up on fish, meat, fruit, vegetables, cheese and organic wine. The choice is eye-popping so take time to do several laps before choosing! At odds with the straight-laced 16th arrondissement, stall owners banter with customers and call out their wares, often offering morsels to taste.

Highlights include Joel Thiébault’s long-established grocery stall, known for peddling veg so rare you may never have seen it before; JPB fishmongers with their rainbow of seafood and fish (all so fresh it’s practically still wriggling) and Maison Priolet, renowned for game and high-quality poultry. Don’t be alarmed if much of it still has feathers – this may be in the heart of one of the most chi-chi areas but this is a proper slice of Parisian gastronomy – tongues, tripe and all.

Great for apartment dwellers … unlike its counterparts, it does a mean range of hot food to takeaway too: Thai, Chinese, Lebanese, and Breton-style crepes. Carnivores: head for the butchers half way down – a stall piled high with Alsatian choucroute, vats of boeuf bourguignon, paella, pâte to suit every palate and rotisserie chicken and roast potatoes. Find a spot with a view onto the Seine and the Eiffel Tower to devour your bounty. Market bliss!
