Description:
This is a non-smoking apartment:

This Paris luxury rental in the heart of the Left Bank and St-Germain-des-Prés is classic Paris at its most sophisticated. The St-Sulpice Luxembourg apartment is perfectly located just steps from both the St-Sulpice church and the glorious Luxembourg Gardens. The apartment occupies the entire second floor of a historic 17th-century Parisian building and can welcome up to six guests.

Upon entering the building through striking 18-ft double doors, which have received the title of monument historique, guests are greeted by a sweeping stone and wrought iron staircase, once photographed by Eugène Atget. Up 2.5 flights of stairs, Luxembourg Gardens Elegance awaits. Built in 1690, this Paris apartment rental is rich in history and was decorated with grandeur in mind. The flat is newly restored and features the elegance of parquet floors, antique furniture, and wood paneling alongside the convenience of a contemporary kitchen, air conditioning, and modern appliances.

Through the entryway, you will find the splendid living room and dining area, complete with original 17th-century stone and Cabochon floor flanking a large Aubusson rug. Tall French windows and 12-foot ceilings allow plentiful views and light to stream into this opulent yet comfortable space. On the opposite side of the apartment you will find the kitchen, modern and fully equipped with state-of-the-art induction hob and electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, and juice maker. This area also houses the apartment’s washer/dryer.

The apartment boasts three bedrooms, each of which is located just off the living room and features wood paneling, internal wooden shutters, original parquet, luxurious Hypnos mattresses, and individual climate controls. The quiet south-facing master bedroom looks out over the building’s internal courtyard and includes a super king-size Louis XV bed, decorative 17th-century fireplace, cable TV (set up upon request only), and an en suite bathroom with double sink and a combination bathtub and shower. There is a large closet serving the master bedroom. The second and third bedrooms are located just across the living room from the master and are separated by a lockable connecting door. The second bedroom has a queen bed alongside a decorative fireplace. The adjoining third bedroom has a king bed that can split into two singles. These two bedrooms share a bathroom, located just off the entryway, with sink and large walk-in shower. The entryway also has a closet for more clothing and coat storage.

With its luxury and perfectly central location, this property is ideal for enjoying the bustle of this historic and always chic part of Paris. Take a stroll down to the Luxembourg Garden or to the Seine river to relax in style, or head towards Boulevard St-Germain for a day of luxury shopping, famous cafés, and timeless Parisian sights. Staying at the St-Sulpice Luxembourg apartment you will find Paris is truly at your fingertips.

The apartment’s street runs through the heart of the fashionable Left Bank and is characterized by a number of 'hôtels particuliers' (grand townhouses) and elegant apartment buildings as well as being bounded by the river at one end and the park at the other. With fifteen buildings or monuments classified as Monument Historique, it has more such listed sites than any other street in the 6th arrondissement. Rue Bonaparte also has many literary associations and contains a number of bookshops, antiquarian booksellers, publishers and art galleries. Its architecture and location have made it one of Paris' most historic and sought-after residential addresses.

Just wanted to follow up on our trip so that you can advise future travelers. First of all we loved the apartment and location, and it worked out perfectly for our group. Beth was lovely and very helpful. Fortunately, we had no issues so didn’t need to contact her.
